I came across this Sign looking for Trader Joes, BAM I saw the Ms. Magazine Way, and I had to investigate.

The first Magazine to be created, owned and operated by women, Ms. Magazine.
Created by Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes in 1971.
Ms. Mag. focused mainly on issues of women's rights and domestic violence. During that time E.32nd Street ( between third & second Avenues SE side) was the home of New York Magazine who published Ms. Magazine 1972 - 1987. Now Ms. Magazine is published by a Nonprofit Foundation in Arlington, VA .
Therefore, On November 15th 2017 E.32nd Street ( between 3rd & 2nd Avenues SE side)was renamed Ms. Magazine Way.
